This series mainly stars the female Fables. Balancing horror, humor and adventure, Fairest explores the secret histories of Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Cinderella, The Snow Queen, Thumbelina, Snow White, Rose Red, and others.

Wide Awake (Issues 1-6) : The first arc follows the misadventures of Briar Rose after she is stolen away by the goblin army in Fables #107.
Lamia (Issue 7): Set in the 1940's, Beast is dead set in tracking down a monster killing men from bars and clubs. The story reveals a dark secret about Beauty.
The Hidden Kingdom (Issues 8-13): Rapunzel’s fast-growing hair is the least of her problems. Her adopted witch mother thinks she’s a slut, origami birds carrying a sinister message are attacking her window – and now, she has to defy Bigby and Snow’s orders to travel from New York to Tokyo and resolve a mystery from her troubled past. Hungry ghosts, talking cats, vengeful lovers scorned and monstrous yakuza await under the hot neon lights as Rapunzel seeks answers...and vengeance.
Aldered States (Issue 14): Reynard the Fox goes on a date, and disaster ensues.
The Return of Maharaja (Issues 15-20): Takes us to the exotic Fables world of the Indu (from which our own world’s India is but a shadow). We kick off the high-adventure with one of the fairest and most badass women to grace these pages yet. Meet Nalayani from story and song. It starts when her humble village under attack, which sends her on a quest that will transform all of Fables forever.
Of Men and Mice (Issues 21-26): Cinderella must track down her old kingdom and stop the master mind behind the assassination attempt of Snow White.
Clamour for Glamour (Issues 26-32): Fabletown refugees return to Castle Dark.
