The story begins outside of The Farm, where Mowgli, and Bigby meet with Beast, Prince Charming and Rose Red for a clandestine mission. Charming reveals to the group a giant beanstalk, from Jack's original stash, and sends Bigby to climb it to meet his mission contact, Cinderella, upon arrival in the Cloud Kingdom.
Once the two meet, and after slight teasing of Bigby's "nervous"ness, the pair travel via giant To the wizard Ulmore's castle, while briefing Bigby of the mission parameters. Bigby is to be dropped from the Cloud Kingdom, directly into the Geppetto aka The Adversary's imperial city, and through means of stealth, make his way to Gepetto's cabin.
When two enemies seemingly get the drop on Bigby, it's revealed that he's joined by his Zephyr son, who subdues them, until Bigby finishes them. Bigby is unfortunately stumbed upon by a drunk Pinocchio, who immediately questions his motives. He confesses he's there to murder the Blue Fairy, as well as if possible, bring Pinocchio back home. Upon further questioning of Bigby, the pair of spotted by an awakened Geppetto.
Bigby goads Geppetto using Israel as a metaphor for Fabletown's ability to fight against all comers, and says The Adversary is the only one who can win the war. After Geppetto agreeing to ponder the inquiry, Bigby further sends a message by detonating set explosives along all the trees in The Adversary's enchanted grove.
Lastly, Bigby reveals that Fabletown has left most of the heads of Gepetto's wooden army intact, in means to use them to barter peace, then departs back to the Cloud Kingdom. He places explosives by the base of his extraction beanstalk, destroying all enemy forces in pursuit.
Rose Red drops Snow White, far off in The Farm, telling her to continue to travel until Bigby is revealed to her. He then reveals for him to do the mission, he bought some of the land on The Farm to be his own, potentionally alone with Snow, the cubs, and his zephyr child, whose name is Ghost. Snow then requests to show Bigby something, as the areas that's now his was once the valley of the sleeping giants, to which Ghost accidentally reveals Bigby's relationship with Sarah, much to his father's chagrin.
Snow reveals she's turned what was once the cave she was kept captive in, into her hiding spot for all the letters' gifts, and such that the children had sent their father. She tasks him to memorize all of them before he is introduced to his other children. He agrees, and then asks for her hand in marriage, which she accepts.
